My family moved to Monmouth when I was 10 years old from Ridgefield Ct. My parents are originally from Michigan/Ohio area. We would come to Maine to enjoy our camp on Torsey Pond in Mount Vernon so my Dad decided to move us to Maine to give us the “Better Way of Life”
I live in Leeds with my husband, Eric. We have two grown children, Zachery and Sarah. Eric has worked at Bath Iron Works since 1986.Our son, Zachery lives in Manchester with his wife, Casey and our grand dog, Baxter. Zach graduated from Maine Maritime Academy and is working for Manson Construction as a 1st Engineer. Casey graduated from University of Maine and works for Compounding Solutions. Our daughter, Sarah lives in Litchfield with her husband, Drew and our grand dogs, Jack and Wes. Sarah graduated from University of Maine and works for Fairview Elementary School as a 3rd grade teacher. Drew graduated from Maine Maritime Academy and works for Raytheon Technologies. We have many great memories camping at Cathedral Pines campground in Eustis. We recently purchased a camp to carry on many more memories in Eustis. We also join our family at “Back of the Moon” in Lincoln, our family camp.
